ECON TRAILER SPREADER FOR TOP UK SCHOOL
Updated. 12.February.2010

One of the UK’s leading independent schools for boys and girls aged from 2-20 has taken advantage of the Econ’s refurbishment service with acquisition of winter maintenance equipment to replace it’s existing supplier...
Econ has carried out work on a Unimog and supplied a refurbished 2m3 trailer spreader for Queen Ethelburga’s College near York. A DIN snowplough frame and snowplough were provided along with the re-conditioned trailer spreader with all the equipment being painted in the school’s green corporate livery.
Robert Craven of the school’s estates department said: “We shall be using this combination to treat the school grounds and car parks. The Econ trailer spreader is replacing three smaller trailer spreaders and I am confident it will do an excellent job. We selected Econ as they are based nearby and we were impressed with the prompt service and competitive pricing.”
